The TESLA Powerwall is an amazing solution for battery backup in your house.  It can work with all solar panel systems and without solar panels too.  With a normal solar panel installation, the energy that you do not use is exported back to the national grid, with a battery back up, the excess energy generated is stored in the battery, so that you can use your solar energy at night time when you need it.

Tesla are the world leaders when it comes to battery technology . The Tesla Powerwall is a 13.5KW battery which would enable you to utilize up to 100% of the solar energy you generate, by storing everything you would normally send back to the grid, so that you can use it in the evening when you need it.

The powerwall can be installed either internally or externally.
